Eight Hits Not Enough For Byrd To Overtake Captain Shreve

  • CE Byrd out-hit Captain Shreve eight to seven, but it wasn't enough in an 8-5 loss on Thursday
  • In the first inning, Captain Shreve got their offense started when.
  • Captain Shreve took the lead for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Callie Moore homered on a 3-1 count, scoring three runs and an error scored one run for Captain Shreve.
  • CE Byrd put up three runs in the third inning. Anna Daniel had an RBI single in the inning to lead the run scoring.
  • Mikel-Ann Ricardo earned the win for Captain Shreve. She allowed eight hits and five runs over seven innings, striking out 14.
  • Emmy Pratt took the loss for CE Byrd . She surrendered eight runs on seven hits over seven innings, striking out 13.
  • CE Byrd racked up eight hits in the game. Daniel and Savannah Lacoste all collected multiple hits for CE Byrd Lacoste and Daniel each collected three hits to lead CE Byrd .
  • Captain Shreve had seven hits in the game. Emily Watts and Amanda Hightower all managed multiple hits for Captain Shreve.
